Engagement manager

The position of a Engagement Manager at Yakov & Partners is both an interesting job and a great opportunity for development. Your responsibilities:
You will lead a team of 3 to 5 consultants on each project.
You will manage the implementation of client projects, mentoring your team members and fostering their professional development. You will liaise directly with clients and will be responsible for project progress and deliverables. Together with your colleagues, you will analyze, develop and implement new methods to improve business performance, creating tailored solutions and working closely with clients to deliver positive impact and strong performance.
You will be able to develop leadership skills, build strong relationships and inspire your colleagues by example. Project team members actively collaborate and help each other, so you will have to work closely with others. However, some tasks you will handle on your own. Working with clients, you will gather and analyze information, develop and test various hypotheses, make recommendations and implement them.
You will also learn new skills and develop your professional competencies. Our consultants continually deepen their knowledge and receive regular mentoring support from colleagues and supervisors in their respective teams.
Your qualifications:
A degree from a top university: a Bachelor's degree or higher, or an MBA (will be a plus).
8+ years of experience in business management or consulting.
Strong professional record, particularly excellent performance and success in previous positions.
In-depth understanding of industries such as financial services, high tech, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, retail, pharmaceuticals, tourism and logistics.
Understanding of functional areas such as strategy, business development, manufacturing, supply chain, product development, project management, marketing and sales, etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Well-developed leadership skills for teamwork.
Willingness to take initiative, commitment to try new methods and create opportunities for others.
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
Ability to express complex ideas clearly in English and Russian, both orally and in writing.
